Mildura Base Public Hospital’s Board of Directors is looking to appoint members to its Community Collaborative. This committee will play an important role, acting as the intermediary between the community and the hospital to ensure the inputs and views of the public are taken into account when making key hospital decisions.
Once appointed, the committee will fulfil the following objectives:
- To advise the hospital on establishing and maintaining effective systems to ensure the health services provided meet the needs of the communities we serve
- To ensure that the views of consumers are taken into account in the hospital’s decision-making processes
- To identify and advise the Board on priority areas and issues requiring community engagement
