About MBPH
Mildura Base Public Hospital is a 172-bed (level 1) tertiary teaching Hospital. We service an area population of approximately 80,000 and are the major public referral centre for the Northern Mallee region of Victoria, the far-west region of New South Wales and the Riverland area of South Australia. We're also a referral centre for smaller regional services including Mallee Track Health & Community Health Services and Robinvale District Health Services.
We provide an extensive range of services including Medical, Surgical, Paediatrics, Rehabilitation, Maternity, Emergency Services, Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit, Perioperative, Dialysis, Oncology, Community Services and Mental Health.
Comprehensive Pathology, Imaging, Pharmacy and Allied Health Services are also available on-site. Our resident medical staff provide medical cover 24-hours a day, working in liaison with visiting medical officers.
