About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide services across the acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings. Your workload will include services such as hand therapy, neurological, rehabilitation, and pre-admission assessments. 
You must hold current AHPRA registration and the capacity to manage a busy and diverse caseload.

About the role:

The successful candidate will have well-developed clinical skills and experience within mental health nursing.  Applicants will hold appropriate registration with AHPRA. Post graduate qualification in mental health would be advantageous but not essential.

The Mildura Base Public Hospital Graduate Registered Nurse Program (General) offers two intakes. The first intake will commence on 29th January 2024 to 9th February 2025 and the mid-year intake will commence on 27th May 2024 to 8th June 2025. Both intakes offer a 54 Week part-time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) with option for full-time graduate position.

Senior role reporting to Executive Director of Mental Health. 
Ensure that consumers and patients at the Mildura Base Public Hospital receive the highest quality evidence-based psychological care, provide oversight of professional governance of all psychologists, provision of expert advice input into psychology-related issues across MBPH, and support for workforce development and training.

  • Have AHPRA registration

  • Have the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of the patient.
  • Be available for a mixture of shifts, which will include weekdays, lates, nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Ideally hold post graduate qualifications in Critical Care/Emergency or Management.
