Pharmacy
Medications / Pharmacy
Patients are requested to bring all current medications, both prescribed and over-the-counter, into hospital with them to:
- Assist in obtaining an accurate medication history
- Utilise during their stay as needed
- Ensure an adequate and up-to-date supply on discharge
Your medication will be stored securely during your stay, and may be administered to you by nursing staff.
The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme operates for discharge medications, meaning details of Medicare number, Pension, Concession or Safety Net cards will be required by pharmacy staff, so please have these handy.
Please note, the Pharmacy is open:

Interpreter Services are available for those patients who require them. If possible, please notify hospital staff if you are aware of a patient who requires an interpreter during their hospital stay.
